As we welcome the new year in. it is time to look back over this past year and review all that we have done. It has been a busy year with an average of 20+ dogs at the bungalow each day. Many of the younger ones come and go quickly. As fast as we can place each one into a foster or forever home, there is at least one to replace them!
We have added a few seniors to our permanent pack but have sadly had to say good-bye to Milan, Hotchie, Buddy and Leo. It is hard saying good-bye, but we are at peace knowing that they lived in comfort and love to the end. We are currently up to 9 dogs that were feral and are being socialized at the Bungalow. They all need exposure to humans who interact with the other dogs! We always welcome visitors who want to work in the yard or just sit and talk with the pack!
We raised enough money in this past year to install a whole house generator. This provides us with the security of knowing that the Bungalow will not be without power or water (we have a well) for an extended period! We have also planted a row of bushes to provide a barrier between the pack and neighboring yards. It will be fun to watch the bushes grow!
Please think about signing up for a monthly donation. Every dollar spent goes to the care of our beagles!
