My name is Olaf.
The people who fed me last winter when it was so cold out started calling me that. I like it! It scared me when they caught me in cage and took me to that place where they poked needles in me and altered my anatomy!
Since then, I have been living in a place with a large yard, regular meals and a warm place to sleep. I have plenty of dogs here to play with but still very scared of people. I have let the lady touch me a couple times and I am trying to learn to take treats without biting her fingers. I assume that is what she means by saying “Easy”!
Lots of people come each day and I usually stay far away but I am watching how the other dogs get lots of pets and attention. No one seems to be hurt so I may try getting close to someone one of these days! There are other hounds like me, and they told me to take it easy. The lady has lots of patience so will try making friends with her first!
